Analysis of college magazine questionnaire
I designed a college questionnaire to my target audience and straight away I realised that 95% of the group do not read the college magazine, which automatically makes me realise the college magazine is failing. I also found that including things such as; news/events, sports, x-box, fashion, information about the college and jobs would help gain more readers. I found out that 70% of the group were willing to pay 50p for a monthly college magazine. Other things that could be edited onto the image and production of the actual magazine, such as; making it brighter and more colourful. A huge 90% said they would like more articles and information in the magazine, which is easily applicable. Also, the majority of the group asked said they would like subject information in the magazine, so you could include websites they could visit, trips that are being held, help etc. a massive 80% said they would not subscribe to the magazine, however this could be lessened by offering deals or maybe discount, as they are students. Including events that are upcoming would also be a big hit, 85% said they would like a ‘What’s On?’ guide. This could include; sports fixtures, cinema listings and music concerts.
