college magazine contents page - finished product

The main picture i used for my contents page contained a young boy and girl, posing for the camera, with a sense of togetherness, as she is on the boys back. I have a fairly strict colour scheme on this page, I stuck with the original college colours of orange and blue, as this relates back to the whole college theme. I introduced the title 'Contents' in a speech bubble coming from the students' mouths. This is to show that it is a magazie intended for the students and that the students have control over the magazine. I have put the main story in a different colour from the other atricles; this is to single it out as the headline article. For my articles, I used the questionnaire taken with students of the college. I just included everything they said they'd like in a college magazine, e.g. a 'What's On?' guide, latest jobs etc. Along with the articles' names, I included a picture related with the articles, e.g. with the 'Get the winter look!' article I included a picture of a wooly jumper from a well known, college student related brand. I also included the page number alongside the pictures, however I went out of my colour scheme with these pictures, I wrote the numbers in black. This is to make them stand out, so if a student was looking for a particular article, they could find what page it is on easily.
