Before this project I had little experience with 'Photoshop', 'Blogger' or 'Flickr' before. However I did not really struggle with 'Photoshop' or 'Blogger', however 'Flickr' gave me problem after problem and never actually worked for me, therefore I decided not to use it in this productional project. I had to use some of these technologies during the construction of my preliminary task also, therefore I gained a little bit of experience from that.
I believe 'Photoshop' is a brilliant tool. It is the key to the creation of any product like this. It allows you to actually create your product. It gives you all the tools needed, e.g. magic wand tool gets rid of backgrounds in pictures. It eases the process of creation in this case. It also allows you to
- Edit photos; improving them for better quality.
- Put as many pictures as desired onto a page.
- Choose from a variety of fonts for your text.
- Put special effects on a piece of font or a picture, e.g. tint.
- Choose from a range of colours to either put over a photo or use in a font.
- Increase the brightness or contrast on a photo.
- Crop a picture to the correct size.

Whereas with 'Blogger' I had very little problems. 'Blogger' was incredibly easy to use. I found the fact that you could include all your text, then add images and fix the images around your text, into one blog post, very helpful. However one problem I did come across with 'Blogger' was that it wouldn't let me change the design of my blog, I had to stay with the default one, however all of my classmates were given the option to alter their design, however it did not affect my work. That was the only small difficulty I came across with this resource. All in all I believe 'Blogger' to be a very safe and clever way to express your work.

I used another form of technology in this project; a camera. When first using a camera, I just thought I had to take an easy camera shot for my front cover, then I realised there was more to a camera shot than I thought. I had to consider which shot I wanted, whether I wanted a close up, or a mid shot, or a long shot etc. After this I had to consider which angle I wanted. I also had to consider every aspect of a shot and decide on the location, the model, the lighting, the angle and the shot. However, after I had decided this taking the actual shot and uploading it onto the computer and finally onto my blog, was fairly easy.
